Christopher Scott Hernandez is an interface designer, front-end developer, and web geek. Originally from Austin, Texas he now works and lives in Philadelphia with his beautiful and brilliant wife Josie and their five pets.

Chris began his career freelancing and working part-time at Shores Media, an independent web design and development studio located in Cedar Park, TX. Soon, an opportunity arose to become the Lead Online Designer for the Journal Register Company, a newspaper and publishing group with over 200+ websites. During his tenure there Chris was responsible for redesigning and launching templates for numerous daily, weekly, and monthly publications. In addition, he helped shape many of the processes and procedures in the JRC online department, including authoring creative guidelines, formalizing and implementing design training, and providing technical guidance to executive-level stakeholders. He now works on world-class e-commerce applications as a web developer for True Action Network.

In addition to designing and developing world-class websites, Chris loves to argue politics, sing too loud during kareoke, drink good coffee and mild green tea, play video games with his wife, visit Austin (read: barbecue and tex-mex), wax nostalgic about his late 80’s – early 90’s childhood, tell war stories from the “guard” and watch the ‘Horns, the Spurs, or the Phils play.
